Using this site
By using Tidy & Stow you accept these terms. If you do not, the remedy is simple: stop using it. We may update these terms, and the date above changes when we do.
What the information here is
This site publishes specifications that manufacturers and retailers have published, with the source named beside each figure, plus our own editorial judgment about what those figures mean for a renter. It is information and opinion, not professional advice, and it is not a guarantee about any product.
We do not test the products we write about, and we say so throughout -- see how we pick. A published rating describes a product under the conditions the manufacturer assumed: a particular surface, a particular temperature, a static load. Whether your wall, door, ceiling or cabinet matches those conditions is something only you can determine, and that judgment is yours to make.
No warranty
This site is provided as is. We make no warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free -- specifications change, listings change, and products get discontinued. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will correct and log it (editorial policy).
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tidy & Stow is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from any product you buy after reading it, including damage to a wall, a door, a ceiling, a possession, or a security deposit. Follow the manufacturer instructions for anything you install, and do not exceed a published rating.

Content and trademarks
The writing, tables and page design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to quote a figure or a sentence with a link back; wholesale copying is not permitted. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used here to identify the products discussed. No manufacturer named on this site endorses it or is affiliated with it.

We link to manufacturer documentation, retailer listings and other outside pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
