If you own a Dyson, buy the XIGOO XG034. It is the only stand of the six we checked whose listing says what happens to your charging dock -- it states the stand works with your original dock, so the bracket comes off the wall instead of staying in the box. If you care more about whether a 50 inch tower will stay upright, the Foho is the only one that publishes its base weight: 6 lb on an 11.5 x 8.7 in footprint.
Every cordless stick vacuum sold today ships with a wall dock and a packet of screws. In a rental that packet is the problem, and the stand is the answer -- but the stands are sold by a dozen near-identical sellers and only some of them will tell you anything.
The short answer
How we judged these
We have not tested any of these stands. What we did was read every published figure on every in-stock listing and rank on four things.
1. Does it publish a compatibility list? A stand is a cradle cut to a specific vacuum profile. "Fits most" is not a specification, and this is the one figure that decides whether the thing is usable at all.
2. Does it say anything about the charging dock? This is the question a renter is actually asking. You are not buying a stand because you want a stand; you are buying one because the dock needs screws.
3. Is the base documented? These are roughly 50 inch towers carrying a top-heavy appliance, usually in a hallway. The base footprint and weight are the stability figures, and almost nobody publishes the weight.
4. How many attachments does it take? A stick vacuum comes with four to eight heads, and a stand that holds the vacuum but not the tools has solved half the problem.
| Stand | Compatibility published | Accessory capacity | Size / base | Dock addressed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XIGOO XG034 | Dyson Gen5detect, V15-V6 | 6 hooks | 11 x 10 x 49.3 in | Yes -- states it works with your original dock |
| Foho DY002 | Dyson V15-V6 plus DC30-DC74 | 8+ accessories | Base 11.5 x 8.7 in, 6 lb; 3 mm steel | States dock NOT included |
| Haturi | Dyson Gen5, V16, V15-V6 | 6 hooks, staggered | 47.8 x 10.6 x 10.6 in | States dock NOT included |
| Lasvea LJD102B | Dyson V15-V6 plus DC30-DC74 | 5 hooks, max 9 heads | Base 11.5 x 8.7 in; 50 in and 51 in both stated | States dock NOT included |
| pickpiff w1 | Dyson Gen5, V15-V6 | 5 hooks, up to 8 accessories | Not published (data field reads 1 x 1 x 1 in) | Not addressed |
| EZ SPARES | Dyson, Eureka, Tineco named; no model list | Not published | Not published | Not addressed |
The dock question, which is the whole purchase
Here is the sequence that catches people out. The vacuum arrives. The dock is a plastic bracket with two screw holes and it is the only thing in the box that holds the machine upright. You cannot screw it to a rented wall, so you buy a stand -- and then you discover that four of these six listings describe the dock only in order to say it is not included, which is a statement about the parcel rather than about whether your dock will work with the stand.
XIGOO is the exception and it is why that stand ranks first. Its listing states the stand works with your original charging dock to keep the vacuum stored, charged and ready. That is the sentence the category needed and the only one in it.
Haturi takes the other sensible route: it publishes a hidden cord management design that routes the charging cable inside the stand. That addresses the cable rather than the dock, which is a different answer to the same mess.
What we are not going to tell you is how your particular vacuum charges, because none of these listings publishes it and we do not test. Some cordless vacuums charge through the dock only; others take the charger lead directly. That is printed in your vacuum's own manual, and it is worth two minutes before you buy a stand -- because if yours is dock-only and the stand will not hold a dock, you have bought a parking space rather than a charging point.
Compatibility is the fit figure, and the universal stands dodge it
Four of these six publish a list of model numbers. Foho and Lasvea go furthest, naming the V-series and the older DC30 through DC74 handhelds; Haturi reaches newest, naming Gen5 Outsize and the V16 alongside the V15 Detect and V12 Detect Slim.
The two "installation-free" universal stands do something different. EZ SPARES names Dyson, Eureka and Tineco and then claims to fit virtually all leading handheld brands; its stablemate claims 99% of handheld vacuum cleaner brands. Neither publishes a model list, a dimension, a capacity count or a weight.
That is not necessarily a bad product -- it is an untestable claim. And it is worth being fair about why it exists: if you own a Shark, a Tineco or a Eureka, the Dyson-specific stands genuinely are not for you, and a universal cradle is the only thing on the shelf. We have ranked EZ SPARES last for publishing nothing, and included it because for a non-Dyson household it is the only honest option on the page.
The base is the safety figure, and one stand publishes it
A 50 inch tower holding a top-heavy appliance in a hallway is a tipping question, and the whole category answers it with adjectives: heavy base, weighted base, reinforced base, thickened base.
Foho publishes an actual number: 11.5 x 8.7 in and 6 lb, with a 3 mm steel tower. Lasvea publishes the same 11.5 x 8.7 in footprint and no weight. Everyone else publishes neither.
Six pounds at the floor under a vacuum held at chest height is a real counterweight, and it is the only figure in this category you can compare between products. The same honesty gap runs through freestanding shelving, where tall units publish loads but hand the tipping problem to an anti-tip bracket that wants a wall screw. No stand here ships one or asks for one, which is a point in the category's favor.
One practical note the listings do publish: pickpiff supplies non-slip anti-scratch rubber strips for the base, and EZ SPARES includes a silicone mat. On a rented hardwood or vinyl floor, a 6 lb steel base parked in one spot for two years is worth putting something under.
Attachments, which is where the real clutter is
The vacuum is one object. The crevice tool, the soft dusting brush, the motorized head, the upholstery nozzle and the extension wand are five more, and they are what actually end up on the floor of the closet.
Published capacity runs from 5 hooks holding a stated 9 heads (Lasvea) and 6 hooks (Haturi, XIGOO) down to 5 hooks for up to 8 accessories (pickpiff) and an unquantified "8+" (Foho). Haturi adds the only geometric detail in the group: the head positions are staggered against the vacuum so the two do not foul each other, which is the kind of thing you only notice once the stand is loaded.
What we would skip
A universal stand if you own a Dyson. The model-specific stands publish compatibility lists, hook counts and footprints. A 99% claim publishes none of the three.
Any stand bought for a measured gap without published dimensions. Two of these six publish no usable size at all, and one of those two has a dimensions field reading 1 x 1 x 1 in.
Sticking the dock to the wall with adhesive. The rating directions do not match the load, and the failure drops an expensive appliance onto a floor you are responsible for.
Buying before checking how your vacuum charges. It takes two minutes in the manual, and it is the difference between a stand and a charging station.
The rest of the cleaning closet
The vacuum is the biggest object in it, and the rest has its own page: broom and mop holders covers the published handle-diameter windows and the maker who prints 30 lb screwed against 8 lb on adhesive -- the clearest statement of the no-drill penalty anywhere on this site.
For the cleaning products rather than the tools, under-sink organizers works around the plumbing, and if you are weighing up whether to put the dock screws in after all, can you drill in a rental is the honest version of that question, including what a landlord can actually charge for.
The picks in full
Every figure below is published by the manufacturer or the retailer listing named beside it. Where a figure is not published, the row says so rather than carrying an estimate.

#1 · Best overall: the only one that states it works with your charging dock
XIGOO Dyson Vacuum Stand, 6 Hooks (XG034)
XIGOO · Best for keeping the vacuum charged without the dock going on a wall
9.0
out of 10
The only stand here whose listing answers the charging question: it states the stand works with your original Dyson dock, so the dock comes off the wall rather than out of the box.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Charging published | States it works with your original charging dock to keep the vacuum stored, charged and ready -- the only listing in this group to address charging at all | XIGOO XG034 product listing |
| Compatibility published | Dyson Gen5detect, V15, V12, V11, V10, V8, V7 and V6 | XIGOO XG034 product listing |

What the specification gets you
- The only listing here that states the stand works with your existing charging dock
- 6 hooks, joint-highest published accessory capacity in this group
- Publishes its full footprint and height, which half this category does not
What it does not cover
- The most expensive stand on this page by a clear margin
- No base weight published, so the stability figure is a claim rather than a number
- Dyson-only compatibility list -- nothing here for a Shark, Tineco or Eureka
Coming off the wall
Nothing to remove. It stands on the floor and never touches the wall.

Foho Vacuum Stand for Dyson (DY002)
Foho · Best for stability you can check before buying
8.7
out of 10
The only stand in this group that publishes what its base actually weighs -- 6 lb, on an 11.5 x 8.7 in footprint -- which is the figure that decides whether a 50 inch tower stays upright.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Base published | 11.5 x 8.7 in and 6 lb -- the only published base weight in this group | Foho DY002 product listing |

| Compatibility published | Dyson V15, V12, V11, V10, V8, V7, V6 plus the older DC30, DC31, DC34, DC35, DC58, DC59, DC62 and DC74 -- the longest list here | Foho DY002 product listing |
| Accessory capacity | Stated to hold 8 or more accessories | Foho DY002 product listing |
| What is not included | States explicitly that the charging and docking station is NOT included with the stand | Foho DY002 product listing |
What the specification gets you
- Publishes a base weight, which is the one honest proxy for tip resistance
- The widest compatibility list here, reaching back to the DC-series handhelds
- Assembly stated at around five minutes with tools included
What it does not cover
- States the dock is not included and says nothing about whether the stand works with one
- No cord management published, so the charging cable is left to its own devices
- Capacity given as '8+' rather than a hook count
Coming off the wall
Nothing to remove. Freestanding, and the listing sells it on exactly that.

#3 · Best for an open room: the only published cord management
Haturi Vacuum Stand with Hidden Cord Management
Haturi · Best for a stand that has to stand in the open
8.6
out of 10
The only stand that publishes a cord-management design, which matters more than it sounds: the charging cable is the thing that makes a freestanding setup look like a workaround.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Cord management | Hidden cord management stated, with the cable routed inside the stand rather than hanging from it | Haturi vacuum stand product listing |
| Compatibility published | Dyson Gen5 Outsize, V16 Piston Animal, V15 Detect, V12 Detect Slim, V11, V10, V8, V7 and V6 -- the newest model coverage here | Haturi vacuum stand product listing |
| Accessory capacity | 6 hooks, with the head positions stated to be staggered against the vacuum so the two do not foul each other | Haturi vacuum stand product listing |
| Size | Published as 47.8 x 10.6 x 10.6 in with a rectangular base | Haturi vacuum stand product listing |
| What is not included | States the vacuum, docking station and accessories are not included | Haturi vacuum stand product listing |
What the specification gets you
- The only published cord-management feature in this group
- Covers the newest Dyson models, including Gen5 and V16
- Staggered hook geometry is a real design answer to heads knocking the wand
What it does not cover
- No base weight published, only that the base is thickened and weighted
- Says the dock is not included and does not say whether the stand accepts one
- Shortest of the full-height stands at a published 47.8 in
Coming off the wall
Nothing to remove.

#4 · Best accessory capacity: 5 hooks, 9 heads published
Lasvea Vacuum Stand, 5 Hooks (LJD102B)
Lasvea · Best for a household that has accumulated every attachment
8.4
out of 10
Publishes the highest head count in the group -- 5 hooks holding a stated maximum of 9 suction heads -- and publishes two different heights for itself in the same listing.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Accessory capacity published | 5 hooks holding a stated maximum of 9 suction heads -- the highest published head count here | Lasvea LJD102B product listing |
| Base published | 11.5 x 8.7 in, with 4 screws connecting the metal frame and a two-leg structure | Lasvea LJD102B product listing |
| Height published | Stated as 50 in in one bullet and 51 in in another -- the listing contradicts itself, so plan for the larger | Lasvea LJD102B product listing |
| Compatibility published | Dyson V15, V12, V11, V10, V9, V8, V7, V6 and the DC30 to DC74 handhelds | Lasvea LJD102B product listing |

What the specification gets you
- 9 heads published is more attachment storage than anything else here claims
- Two-step assembly stated, the simplest in the group
- Same 11.5 x 8.7 in base footprint as the stand that publishes 6 lb
What it does not cover
- Publishes two different heights for itself, 50 in and 51 in
- No base weight published despite leading on stability
- Nothing published about charging or cord routing
Coming off the wall
Nothing to remove.

#5 · Best for two vacuums: 7 published height slots
pickpiff Vacuum Stand, 7 Height Slots (w1)
pickpiff · Best for a household with two different dyson generations
8.2
out of 10
The only stand that publishes an adjustment figure -- 7 height slots at the cradle -- which is how one frame covers a V6 and a Gen5 without either sitting wrong.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Height adjustment published | 7 adjustable height slots at the top of the frame | pickpiff w1 product listing |
| Compatibility published | Dyson Gen5, V15, V12, V11, V10, V9, V8, V7 and V6 | pickpiff w1 product listing |
| Accessory capacity | 5 hooks, stated to store up to 8 accessories | pickpiff w1 product listing |
| Floor protection | Non-slip anti-scratch rubber strips supplied, stated to add stability, cut noise and protect the floor | pickpiff w1 product listing |
| Size | Not published. The listing's dimensions field reads 1 x 1 x 1 in, which is placeholder data rather than a measurement | pickpiff w1 product listing |
What the specification gets you
- 7 published height positions, which nothing else here offers
- Floor-protection strips supplied, which matters on a rented hardwood or vinyl floor
- Around 10 minutes of assembly with all hardware included
What it does not cover
- No usable dimensions published at all -- the data field is placeholder
- No base weight, and the base is described only as reinforced
- Nothing published about charging or the dock
Coming off the wall
Nothing to remove. The rubber strips sit under the base and travel with it.

#6 · Best non-Dyson option -- and it publishes nothing
EZ SPARES Installation-Free Vacuum Stand
EZ SPARES · Best for a shark, tineco or eureka, where the specific stands do not exist
7.5
out of 10
The one that fits brands other than Dyson, and the one that publishes least about itself. Both of those facts come from the same decision.
| Specification | Published figure | Source |

Questions people actually ask
How do you store a cordless vacuum without drilling?
On a freestanding stand. Every cordless stick vacuum ships with a wall dock that needs screws, and the no-drill answer is a weighted floor tower that cradles the machine and hangs the attachments. The published figures to compare are the compatibility list, the base footprint and weight, and the hook count -- and, if charging matters to you, whether the listing says the stand works with your existing dock.
Can you mount a vacuum dock with adhesive strips instead of screws?
We would not. The strongest adhesive hook on this site publishes 7.5 lb and the strongest strip set 20 lb, and both ratings describe a load hanging straight down against the wall. A dock holds the vacuum out from the wall, loading the bond in peel -- the weakest direction adhesive has, and one no published rating covers. Check your vacuum's weight in its manual against those figures before improvising.
Will a vacuum stand charge my vacuum?
Only if it holds your original dock, and only one of the six listings we checked addresses that: XIGOO states its stand works with your original charging dock. Four others mention the dock only to say it is not included, which is a statement about the parcel rather than about compatibility. One stand publishes hidden cord management, which tidies the cable rather than docking the machine. How your particular vacuum charges is in its own manual -- check before buying.
Are cordless vacuum stands stable enough?
The category answers that with adjectives rather than numbers -- heavy, weighted, reinforced, thickened. Exactly one publishes a figure: Foho states a 6 lb base on an 11.5 x 8.7 in footprint with a 3 mm steel tower. Lasvea publishes the same footprint and no weight. On a roughly 50 inch tower carrying a top-heavy appliance, that 6 lb is the only stability number in the group you can actually compare.
Do these stands fit a Shark, Tineco or Eureka?
The model-specific stands do not -- their published compatibility lists name Dyson models only. The two installation-free universal stands name Dyson, Eureka and Tineco and claim to fit virtually all leading handheld brands, but publish no model list, no dimensions and no capacity count. For a non-Dyson vacuum a universal cradle is the realistic option; just be aware you are buying a claim rather than a specification.
How many vacuum attachments will a stand hold?
Published capacity runs from 5 hooks holding a stated maximum of 9 suction heads at the top end, through 6 hooks, down to 5 hooks for up to 8 accessories and an unquantified '8 or more'. One listing adds the only useful geometric detail in the group: the head positions are staggered against the vacuum so the attachments do not knock the wand, which only becomes obvious once the stand is loaded.
Will a vacuum stand mark a rented floor?
It can, because a weighted steel base parked in one place for a tenancy concentrates load on a small footprint. Two listings address it: pickpiff supplies non-slip anti-scratch rubber strips and EZ SPARES includes a silicone mat. The others publish nothing, so on hardwood or vinyl a set of felt pads is cheap insurance -- the same precaution worth taking under the metal rolling carts we cover elsewhere.
